Terms of Service
Last updated 23 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Billeva, at billeva.com and in the Billeva app. By creating an account, or by using the free trial without one, you agree to them. If you use Billeva for a business, you agree to them on behalf of that business.
What Billeva does
Billeva lets you create invoices, preview them as you type, and download them as PDFs. You send the PDFs to your clients yourself. We may add, change or remove features over time.
Your account
- Give accurate details when you sign up, and keep your password to yourself.
- You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- You need to be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
- You can delete your account at any time under Profile. That deletes your businesses, invoices and logos for good.
Your invoices
The invoices, business details and logos you add are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only so we can run Billeva for you.
You're responsible for what your invoices say: amounts, taxes, and the details your country requires on an invoice. Billeva does the arithmetic and the layout; it doesn't give tax, legal or accounting advice. Check an invoice before you send it.
Plans and payment
- The free Basic plan lets you save a limited number of invoices each month, and its invoices carry a small “Created with Billeva” line. The limits of each plan are on the pricing page.
- Paid plans are sold through Polar (polar.sh), which acts as the merchant of record: it processes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, and issues your receipts. Polar's own terms apply to the payment.
- Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until you cancel. Cancel any time under Profile → Billing → Manage subscription. You keep the paid plan until the end of the period you've paid for, and aren't charged again.
- Payments aren't refunded for the part of a period you don't use. If you were charged by mistake, or something went wrong, email us within 14 days and we'll put it right.
- If we change a plan's price, we'll tell you before it applies to your next billing period.
Fair use
Don't use Billeva to:
- create fake, fraudulent or misleading invoices;
- break the law, or infringe anyone else's rights;
- try to get into other people's accounts or data;
- overload, attack or reverse-engineer the service, or get around its plan limits.
We may suspend or close an account that does, and will tell you why when we can.
Availability
We work to keep Billeva running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own copies of invoices you need: you can download any saved invoice as a PDF at any time.
Liability
Billeva is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, or your rights as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell signed-in users before the change applies. Using Billeva after that means you accept the new terms.
